I had planned to show Ted and Ann together last April. Something kind of came up. After the crazy year that we all experienced, I wanted something full of whimsy and light to start the summer and celebrate our newfound freedom. These works abound in whimsy, but I also found them to be an appropriate bookend to our year of isolation and distance as they each exist in a state of profound solitude. At rest or gazing into the distance, each painting and assemblage is filled with internal dialog and insights into unique personalities.
